Upcoming EnerStar Annual Meeting, June 7

The theme for the upcoming EnerStar Electric Cooperative Annual Meeting of Members is "Working Together for Our Future." The event will take place on Saturday, June 7, at Paris High School in Paris. The annual meeting offers a unique opportunity for the co-op to engage directly with its member-owners, update them on past activities, and discuss future plans.

As is tradition, a member breakfast will be served from 7:30 a.m., when the doors open, until 9:00 a.m. in the school cafeteria, catered by On the Tracks Cafe in Paris. The business meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Paris Center of Fine Arts, located within the school complex.

EnerStar Board Chairman Jeff Murphy from Marshall will preside over the meeting. After handling routine business, Secretary-Treasurer Greg Robinson, also from Marshall, will present the 2024 Treasurer's Report. EnerStar CEO Angela Griffin will then provide an update on the cooperative. Cooperative attorney Rob Anderson will review last year's bylaw change regarding procedural changes for uncontested co-op board seats; members attending will participate in the election process.

All attendees will receive a $25 bill credit and have the opportunity to win bill credits of up to $300. Detailed information about the annual meeting is available at www.enerstar.com. Members can also contact the co-op office at 1-800-635-4145 for questions or directions.
