Project ChildSafe is funded by a grant from the U.S.
Department of Justice and is managed by the National Shooting Sports
Foundation (NSSF). Project ChildSafe has partnered with
governors, lieutenant governors, U.S. Attorneys, mayors and local
law enforcement agencies across the country to distribute safety
kits. The program is a component of Project Safe Neighborhoods, a
gun-violence prevention initiative of the United States Department
of Justice and the Bush Administration. For more information about
