October 27, 2009
A CFL
bulb recycling bucket is located at the entrance of the
Marshall Public Library. Broken bulbs or long tubes are not
accepted. Bulbs may also be delivered to the EnerStar
Electric Cooperative office in Paris. In addition, EnerStar
accepts used oil at the cooperative office from residential
“do-it-yourselfers.” Before draining the oil, be sure you
have a suitable container on hand, one that can be sealed
and transported. Also, be sure that you do not mix the oil
with other liquids such as antifreeze, gasoline, paint
thinner, brake fluid or water.
